Where CORN is ahead

CORN lists tax integration with SRB and KPRA as well as FBR and PRA. Café QR reports to PRA and FBR only and isn't connected to the Sindh Revenue Board yet, so restaurants in Sindh or Khyber Pakhtunkhwa should weigh that first.

It also advertises its own ordering app for iOS and Android, a rider app with GPS tracking, and reservations. Café QR's delivery page runs in the browser, with your own riders and no app to download.

Dollars or rupees

CORN prices its plans in US dollars per branch, so what you pay in rupees moves with the exchange rate. Café QR is Rs 6,000 a month for the full POS, billed in rupees, so the price on the page is the price on the bill.

Ask CORN whether you are billed in dollars or rupees, at which rate, and whether tax is added, then compare at today's rate.

CORN's pricing page lists one long set of features under three plans without saying which plan includes which. Before you compare, ask in writing whether the kitchen display, TableTap waiter app, QR ordering, online ordering and tax integration come with Starter, or only with Pro or Elite.
