Ask Claude about your café: sales, best sellers and busy times in plain words

Most owners never open the reports screen in the middle of a shift. With the connector you just ask. Claude looks up the figures in Café QR, works out the comparison and replies in a sentence or a short table, in your own currency and on your café's business days.

Because the answer comes from the same orders as your takings and cash-up, it matches the dashboard. Cancelled orders are left out and refunds are taken off, as in your reports.

Claude can read your sales summary, orders and order details, best and slowest sellers, the menu, what's happening right now (open orders and today's takings so far), busy times by day and hour, and guest feedback.

The only thing it can change is whether a menu item is sold out. Claude asks before it does, and the change shows in Audit in your dashboard like any other.

It can't take payments, refund or cancel orders, delete anything, change staff or pay, or see guests' phone numbers and email addresses. Those stay in your dashboard.

Three prompts come with the connector, so you can pick one instead of typing. The morning briefing covers yesterday's sales, best sellers, complaints to follow up and when to expect today's rush. The weekly review compares last week with the week before and ends with three suggestions. The menu check-up says what to promote, reprice or drop.

In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, and find Café QR in the directory. Choose Connect, sign in with your usual Café QR login and allow access. Then start a new chat and ask a question about your café.

If you'd rather add it by hand, choose Add custom connector and paste https://cafeqr.app/mcp as the address. It is a remote MCP server (Model Context Protocol, the open standard Claude uses for connectors), with sign-in through your Café QR account, so there is nothing to install and no API key to copy.

The owner and managers can connect, with the same login as the dashboard. Kitchen and floor staff can't. A manager who works at one branch only sees that branch, and an owner with several cafés can ask about each by name.

Claude only sees the answers to the questions you ask. Café QR doesn't share guests' contact details through the connector and doesn't use your café's data to train AI. Remove the connector in Claude's settings and access stops straight away.
