Table bookings without a separate booking system

Switch on online booking and you get a booking page to link from your website, Google listing and socials. The guest picks a date and party size, sees the times that fit your opening hours and free seats, and books with their name and phone number.

They get a confirmation page with an Add to calendar file and a cancel button that works until the booking starts. Availability is checked again when they submit and after saving, so two guests can't both take the last seats.

Reservations shows bookings for the next two weeks, day by day, with covers. Staff add phone bookings and walk-ins, seat a booking to a table when the guests arrive, and mark it done, a no-show or cancelled.

Edit a booking's guest, party size, time, note or table. A booking is linked to the customer by phone, so their notes and tags show when they arrive. After closing, the Today page shows tomorrow's bookings as part of closing the day.

When you are full, put walk-ins on the waitlist with a wait time, text them on WhatsApp when their table is ready, and mark them seated or left.

Ask for a deposit per guest from a party size you choose. Big parties pay it by card when they book online, and an unpaid booking is released after two hours. Deposits taken by phone are recorded as taken, refunded or kept. Tomorrow's guests get a WhatsApp reminder with a cancel link.

Table bookings are in the POS plan at £39 per venue a month, or the "Table bookings" add-on at £4 a month on any plan.

Online deposits are paid through your own Stripe account, so connect Stripe first. Reminders go by WhatsApp, not SMS, and bookings do not come in from third-party booking sites.
