EPOS system for Liverpool cafés and restaurants
Café QR is a cloud POS built in Liverpool and already running in independent cafés across the city. The till, kitchen display, floor plan and tabs, table bookings, online ordering and cash-up are one system on the tablets you already have, and a QR code on each table is one more way to take an order. The people who set it up with you work in the same city.

Local cafés
We work with independent cafés here in Liverpool. If you want to talk to someone who has set this up in a café like yours, ask us when you get in touch.
We are based in the city centre, so an in-person setup is a walk or a short bus ride, not a support ticket.
01
A till built for the way Bold Street trades
Liverpool's independent café trade is concentrated in a handful of dense, walkable stretches: Bold Street, Lark Lane, the Baltic Triangle, Smithdown Road. These are small rooms with tight counters, where the queue reaches the door long before the kitchen is at capacity.
The counter till rings up walk-ins and takeaway fast, with cash and change due and card recorded against the sale. Seated guests can order from a QR on the table instead of rejoining the line, and both kinds of order land on the same kitchen screen and in the same takings.
02
Match-day and event-week peaks
Liverpool's trade is not evenly spread across the week. A home fixture, a run of nights at the arena or a cruise ship on the waterfront turns an ordinary afternoon into the busiest few hours of the month, usually with whichever staff were already rostered.
The kitchen display queues every order in the order it arrived, from the till, the waiter app, the table or your online page, with timers that turn amber and then late. Kitchen stations split it so the bar sees drinks and the kitchen sees food.
- Kitchen screen by station, with late-order alerts
- Open tabs per table, with a split-the-bill helper
- Sold-out items hidden from the till and the menu in one tap
03
Setup in person, in the city
Being local is the practical difference. We can sit in the café during a service, watch where the flow actually breaks, and set the till, menu and floor plan up with you rather than sending a login and hoping.
At close, cash-up counts the drawer against the float and shows you over or short. Each café connects its own Stripe account for online and table payments and stays the merchant, so that money lands in your bank. We are the software; we never hold it.
