Where we are
We are a Liverpool company, so setup is a screen-share rather than a site visit: we build your menu and till from a photo of your menu, lay out your floor plan and stay on the call while you put a test sale through. Your venue's own clock drives opening hours and daily takings, so nothing runs on UK time.

GST is already in the price
New Zealand quotes retail prices with GST included, and at a single national rate, which makes it one of the simpler places in the world to set up a till. Set the rate once and the displayed price is the price paid.
The receipt shows the GST contained in the total, labelled as GST rather than as VAT, so nothing on it looks foreign.

Card-first, on the terminal you already have
New Zealand adopted card and contactless payment early and thoroughly, and most cafés already have a terminal they are happy with. Built-in card readers are UK only for now, so outside the UK you keep the card terminal you have: take the payment on it and tap Card on the till to record the sale.
Guests who order from the QR on their table pay on their own phone in the browser, with nothing to install, and the order lands on the same kitchen display as the till's.

A small market is an argument for owning your customers
In a country this size, a café's trade is built on the same faces returning. That makes a list of your own regulars worth considerably more than another channel that rents you access to them.

Can I keep my card terminal?
Yes. Built-in card readers are UK only for now, so outside the UK you keep the card terminal you have: take the payment on it and tap Card on the till to record the sale.
What does Café QR cost in New Zealand?
From NZ$65 per venue, per month, billed in NZD, after one month free with no card needed. That covers QR ordering, the kitchen screen, menu and loyalty tools; the till and the rest of the full POS are added on top, quoted in NZD before you start. There is no per-order fee.
