One board for every order
Each order card shows where it goes (a table number, Takeaway or Collection), a short order code, the guest's name, every item with its chosen options, and any kitchen note. Orders sit oldest first, so the one that has waited longest is the next to make.
One tap moves an order along, and a new-order chime can be switched on. Online orders paid by card only appear once the payment is confirmed, so the kitchen never makes an order nobody has paid for.
- Orders turn amber, then Late, at the minutes you set
- Courses: the kitchen gets course 1, and course 2 shows as held until the waiter sends it
- Seat numbers on the board and the ticket
- Voided items struck through, so nothing is made by mistake
- Recently done lists the last hour's finished orders, with a Recall button
- An order-ready screen for a TV by the counter, where customers watch for their number
- Kitchen staff sign in straight onto the kitchen screen
