When storekit may fit
storekit may fit a hospitality business that wants dine-in alongside takeaway, catering, delivery options or a wider integration stack.
Its documentation describes order management, menu controls, customer data capture and routes into dashboards, POS systems or printers.
02
When Café QR may fit
Café QR may fit a single independent café that mainly needs guests to scan, order and pay at the table, with paid orders arriving on a browser-based staff screen.
The £29 plan includes café branding and the opt-in customer list. There is no 12-month commitment and Café QR adds a 0% platform fee to guest orders.
03
Check the transaction quote
storekit’s help article describes higher or competitive transaction rates by plan but does not publish the exact dine-in percentages. Ask for the complete rate and any hardware, setup or integration costs before comparing totals.
For Café QR, Stripe’s processing charge is separate from the £29 subscription. The café connects its own Stripe account and remains the merchant.
