Drag your tables into the shape of the room. During service each table is coloured by what is happening there: free, cooking, to pay, calling staff or wanting the bill, so a manager can see the whole floor at a glance.
Guests can use the call-staff and request-the-bill buttons on the table's QR menu, and the request appears on the floor plan and the dashboard with the table number. With more than one venue, each location has its own floor plan.
An order taken on the waiter app, or a till sale marked pay later, stays on the table's tab. Open tabs lists every table with orders still owing and what each owes.
When the party moves, or two tables join, Move tab takes the orders to the new table. When they are ready to pay, settle the whole table in one tap as cash or card.
In the waiter app, put each line in a course and on a seat. The kitchen gets course 1 straight away; course 2 is held until the waiter, or anyone on Open tabs, sends it.
The split-the-bill helper on Open tabs works out each person's share, and the till can take a bill in several parts until they add up to the total.
Guests can open the table's running bill from the QR code on their table and use its equal-split calculator to see what each of them owes before they come to pay.
The floor plan, open tabs and the waiter app are in the POS plan at £39 per venue a month. On Order & Pay they are the "Waiter app, tabs and floor plan" add-on at £8 a month, which needs the till add-on too.
Guests can see and split the table bill on their phone, but cannot yet pay their own share online: payment is still taken at the till.
