Card and cash taxed at their own rates
In Punjab a restaurant bill paid by card, wallet or QR is taxed at a lower rate than one paid in cash, and a system with a single tax rate gets one of the two wrong on every order. Café QR keeps a card rate and a cash rate for each restaurant.

PRA and FBR e-invoicing on every bill
Punjab requires restaurants above its turnover threshold to print bills through the Punjab Revenue Authority's e-invoicing system, with a QR code the guest can verify, and restaurants in Islamabad report to the Federal Board of Revenue. Café QR sends each paid bill to PRA or FBR, whichever the branch is registered with, and prints the invoice number and QR code on it. When you refund a sale, a credit note for the refunded amount goes to the same authority.

The money is yours. It goes straight to your account.
Raast payments land in the bank or wallet account you already have, and JazzCash payments in your JazzCash merchant account. The money never passes through us, and we take no commission on your orders.

Is this a full POS, or just QR ordering?
It is a full cloud POS for restaurants and cafés. The Plus plan adds the staff till and waiter app, tabs and split bills, refunds, a floor plan, bookings, kitchen stations, cash-up and your own delivery page. QR table ordering is built in alongside it. If the internet drops, the till keeps taking cash (and your own payment types) and uploads those sales when it is back; card, Raast, tabs and QR ordering need the connection.
Can it replace my current till?
Yes. It takes orders, payments and tabs, runs the kitchen and the reports, and in Punjab it prints your official bill through PRA or FBR e-invoicing, with the invoice number and QR code.
How do guests pay?
By Raast: guests send the money from any bank or wallet app to your Raast ID, and your staff tap "Raast received" when it arrives. With a JazzCash merchant account connected, they can also pay with JazzCash from the table. Guests who'd rather pay cash send their order from the table and pay at the counter.
Does it handle Punjab's different card and cash tax rates?
Yes. Each restaurant has a card rate and a cash rate. Orders paid at the counter are priced at the cash rate, and the basket shows what the bill comes to by card as well.
Does it replace my PRA or FBR billing?
Yes, for PRA in Punjab and FBR in Islamabad: Café QR sends each paid bill to the authority your branch is registered with and prints its invoice number and QR code on the bill. Refunds are sent as credit notes. Each branch is registered with its own POS ID and goes through the authority's sandbox before it goes live. It isn't connected to the Sindh Revenue Board yet, so in Sindh your official bill stays with the till you use today.
Is Café QR a restaurant management system?
Yes. Besides the till and kitchen screens, it runs staff logins and roles, the floor plan and bookings, daily cash-up and reports, and, on Pro, several branches with stock and recipes, all from one dashboard on any phone or laptop.
Does it work for takeaway?
Yes. Ring takeaway orders up on the till, take delivery orders through your own page, or put a QR code at the counter so customers order from their phone while they wait.
Do my guests need to download an app?
No. Scanning the table's QR code opens your menu in the phone's browser. There's nothing to install and no account to create.
What does it cost?
The full POS, with the staff till, waiter app, tabs, floor plan, bookings and delivery page, is the Plus plan at Rs 6,000 per restaurant, per month. QR ordering and the kitchen screen alone are Rs 4,999, and Pro, for several branches with stock and insights, is Rs 7,000. One month free, no setup fee and no commission on your orders. JazzCash charges its own fees under your merchant agreement with them.
What happens if the internet drops?
Service carries on. The till keeps taking cash, and any payment types of your own, and uploads those sales when the connection is back. Card, Raast, tabs and QR table ordering wait for the connection, so a phone hotspot is the simplest backup for those.
Is my data and my money safe?
Raast payments go straight from the guest's bank to yours, and JazzCash pays into your own merchant account, so the money never passes through us. Every member of staff signs in as themselves with a role you choose, and refunds, discounts and the cash drawer can be set to need a manager's PIN.
What do I need to get started?
A tablet, phone or laptop for the till and another for the kitchen screen; a receipt or kitchen printer is optional. A JazzCash merchant account if you want guests to pay from the table; without one, Raast and cash work as they are.
