Restaurant POS system in Karachi.
Karachi's restaurants run on volume: big menus, late nights and a steady line of takeaway. Café QR is a restaurant POS built for that: a fast counter till, a waiter app on staff phones, kitchen screens split by station, tabs and cash-up in one system, paid by cash, Raast or JazzCash. Guests can also order from a QR on the table or at the counter, into the same kitchen queue.

16 seconds in Karachi
One order through the POS, paid by Raast.
Big menus, split by kitchen station
A Karachi menu often runs to pages: BBQ, karahi, biryani, nihari, Chinese, fast food, shakes. Kitchen stations give each part of the kitchen its own screen, so the BBQ grill only sees BBQ and the shake counter only sees shakes, with timers that flag anything running late.
Change a price or add a special yourself, in seconds, and it changes on the till, the waiter app and the table menu at once. No reprinting, and no guest arguing over an old menu.
Takeaway and delivery without the crowd at the counter
The counter till rings takeaway up fast, and your own delivery page (Plus plan) takes orders from home by area, with riders assigned from the delivery manager. A QR code by the counter lets walk-in customers order from their phone while they wait, and it tells them when the order is ready.
Paid from any bank or wallet
With Raast, a guest pays straight into your existing bank, JazzCash or Easypaisa account from whichever app they use, using your Raast ID. Your staff see the money arrive and tap Raast received on the till; cash-up at close splits the day into cash, card and online.
Tax in Karachi
Sindh sales tax, set the way you charge it
Restaurant services in Karachi fall under the Sindh Revenue Board rather than Punjab's PRA. The POS doesn't fix a rate for you: you set your own sales tax rate, a separate cash rate if your bills use one, and whether menu prices include tax.
Your official bill stays where it is today. Café QR takes the order and sends it to the kitchen; it doesn't replace the till that prints your tax invoice.
Included
What the POS includes
QR ordering and the kitchen screen from Rs 4,999 a month. The staff till, waiter app, tabs, floor plan, bookings and delivery page are the Plus plan, Rs 6,000 a month.
Staff till and tabs (Plus plan)
Ring up counter sales with cash, Raast or card on your bank's machine, keep a tab per table, split the bill and send everything to the kitchen.
Waiter app and floor plan (Plus plan)
Take orders at the table from a phone, see which tables are free, ordering or waiting to pay, and take table bookings.
Refunds and order history
Find any order, cancel an unpaid one or refund a paid one with a reason, and every refund comes off your takings.
QR menu and table ordering
Each table gets its own QR code, so every order arrives with its table number. Print the codes yourself on any printer.
Raast from any app
Guests send the money from JazzCash, Easypaisa, NayaPay, SadaPay or any bank app, straight into the account you already have. Nothing new to sign up for.
JazzCash from the table
Connect your JazzCash merchant account and guests pay from their phone. The money goes to your account, not through us.
Cash at the counter
Guests who'd rather pay cash still order from the table and settle at the counter, at your cash tax rate.
Card and cash tax rates
Set a card rate and a cash rate, show prices with or without tax, and name it the way your bills do: GST, Sales tax or anything else.
PRA and FBR e-invoicing, with refund credit notes
Send paid bills to the Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) or, in Islamabad, the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), and print the verified invoice number and QR code on receipts. A refund sends a credit note to the same authority.
Offline till for load shedding
When power cuts or internet disruptions hit, the till keeps taking cash and printing bills, syncing sales when back online.
Live kitchen screen
Orders appear on any phone, tablet or laptop in the kitchen, sorted New, Preparing and Ready. One tap moves each one along.
Half, full and extras
Half or full karahi, extra raita, less spicy: set up sizes and options with their own prices and let guests choose.
Questions
Restaurants in Karachi ask
Can guests pay by Easypaisa or NayaPay?
Yes, through Raast. Every Pakistani bank and wallet app can send to a Raast ID, so a guest on Easypaisa, NayaPay, SadaPay or any bank pays straight into your account.
What tax rate does the POS use in Karachi?
The one you set. Enter the rate your bills use (and a cash rate if it differs) in Settings; Café QR applies it to every order. Ask your tax adviser if you're unsure which applies to you.
How long does setup take?
Most restaurants are taking orders the same day. Send a photo of your menu and we set up the till, kitchen screens and tables with you over a WhatsApp video call.
Prefer to talk it through?
Book a walkthrough or ask us anything.
Tell us about your venue and we’ll reply, usually within one working day, to plan your setup or show you round the till on a call. It’s an enquiry only: no card, no subscription and no trial started.
