Café and restaurant POS system in Islamabad.
Islamabad's cafés and restaurants serve guests who already pay for everything from their phone. Café QR is a POS that matches them: the till, waiter app, kitchen screen, tabs, table bookings and cash-up in one system, with Raast and JazzCash at the counter. Guests can also scan a QR at the table and order and pay themselves, with no app to download.

Tabs and bookings for cafés where guests linger
In the capital's markets and sectors, guests linger over coffee and order more as they go. Each table keeps an open tab that staff add to from the till or a phone, guests can add a second round themselves from the QR on the table, and the bill is split at the end.
Table bookings (Plus plan) give you your own booking page and a diary staff seat guests from, and your logo and colours run through every page guests see.
Your own customer list
After ordering, guests can choose to join your list. When you launch a new menu or run an offer for a quiet weekday, you can tell the regulars who actually come back, instead of paying for ads that reach strangers.
Islamabad and Rawalpindi
The POS runs in the browser on your own tablets and phones, with nothing to install, so a restaurant in Rawalpindi or out towards the motorway is set up exactly as one in the centre of Islamabad: remotely, on a video call, the same day.
Tax in Islamabad
Your tax rate, your way
Restaurants in Islamabad answer to the federal tax rules for the capital territory rather than a provincial authority. The POS doesn't fix a rate for you: you set your sales tax rate, a separate cash rate if your bills use one, and whether your menu prices include tax.
Café QR can also report each paid bill to the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) for your Islamabad branch and print the FBR invoice number and QR code on it. You register the branch's POS with FBR, test in its sandbox, then go live once it approves you. A refund sends a credit note to FBR.
Included
What the POS includes
QR ordering and the kitchen screen from Rs 4,999 a month. The staff till, waiter app, tabs, floor plan, bookings and delivery page are the Plus plan, Rs 6,000 a month.
Staff till and tabs (Plus plan)
Ring up counter sales with cash, Raast or card on your bank's machine, keep a tab per table, split the bill and send everything to the kitchen.
Waiter app and floor plan (Plus plan)
Take orders at the table from a phone, see which tables are free, ordering or waiting to pay, and take table bookings.
Refunds and order history
Find any order, cancel an unpaid one or refund a paid one with a reason, and every refund comes off your takings.
QR menu and table ordering
Each table gets its own QR code, so every order arrives with its table number. Print the codes yourself on any printer.
Raast from any app
Guests send the money from JazzCash, Easypaisa, NayaPay, SadaPay or any bank app, straight into the account you already have. Nothing new to sign up for.
JazzCash from the table
Connect your JazzCash merchant account and guests pay from their phone. The money goes to your account, not through us.
Cash at the counter
Guests who'd rather pay cash still order from the table and settle at the counter, at your cash tax rate.
Card and cash tax rates
Set a card rate and a cash rate, show prices with or without tax, and name it the way your bills do: GST, Sales tax or anything else.
PRA and FBR e-invoicing, with refund credit notes
Send paid bills to the Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) or, in Islamabad, the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), and print the verified invoice number and QR code on receipts. A refund sends a credit note to the same authority.
Offline till for load shedding
When power cuts or internet disruptions hit, the till keeps taking cash and printing bills, syncing sales when back online.
Live kitchen screen
Orders appear on any phone, tablet or laptop in the kitchen, sorted New, Preparing and Ready. One tap moves each one along.
Half, full and extras
Half or full karahi, extra raita, less spicy: set up sizes and options with their own prices and let guests choose.
Questions
Restaurants in Islamabad ask
What do we need to run the POS?
A tablet, phone or laptop for the till and another for the kitchen screen, and an internet connection. A receipt or kitchen printer is optional. Guests ordering from the table need nothing: the QR opens your menu in their phone's browser.
Can we use it in Rawalpindi too?
Yes. Café QR works anywhere in Pakistan with an internet connection, and setup is remote. A restaurant in Rawalpindi is set up exactly like one in Islamabad.
What does it cost?
The full POS, with the till, waiter app, tabs, floor plan and bookings, is the Plus plan at Rs 6,000 per restaurant, per month. QR ordering and the kitchen screen alone start at Rs 4,999. One month free, no setup fee and no commission on your orders.
