Restaurant POS system in Lahore.
From a karahi house on a food street to a café in Gulberg, a busy Lahore evening is the same problem: full tables, waiters running between them, and orders written down in a hurry. Café QR is a restaurant POS that fixes the writing-down part: waiters take the order on a phone, the counter rings it up on the till, and every dish reaches the kitchen screen exactly as chosen, with tabs, cash-up and Punjab's card and cash tax rates in the same system. Guests can order from a QR on the table too.

A waiter app built for the evening rush
Lahore eats late and in groups. A table of eight ordering karahi, BBQ, naan and drinks is where handwritten orders go wrong: a half becomes a full, the extra raita is forgotten, the less-spicy request never reaches the cook.
With the waiter app, the order is taken on a phone at the table and goes straight to the kitchen screen and printer with its table number, every size and note included. The table keeps an open tab until the bill is split and paid, and the floor plan shows which tables are still waiting.
Half, full, extra raita
Set each dish up the way your menu already works: half or full karahi, mutton or chicken, extra naan, less spicy. Each choice has its own price, so the bill is right without anyone adding it up.
Mark a dish as finished for tonight and it disappears from the menu straight away, so nobody orders the last of the mutton twice.
A counter till for food streets and takeaway
On a food street half your trade is at the counter. The till rings takeaway up in a few taps, with cash and the change worked out, Raast or card on your bank's machine, and a QR code by the counter lets customers order from their phone while they wait.
Tax in Lahore
Punjab's card and cash rates
In Punjab a restaurant bill paid by card, wallet or QR is taxed at a lower rate than one paid in cash (8% against 16% at the time of writing). Café QR keeps both rates for your restaurant: Raast and JazzCash orders use the card rate, and orders paid at the counter use the cash rate.
If your restaurant has to print bills through the Punjab Revenue Authority's e-invoicing system, Café QR does it: each paid bill goes to PRA, and the PRA invoice number and QR code print on it.
Included
What the POS includes
QR ordering and the kitchen screen from Rs 4,999 a month. The staff till, waiter app, tabs, floor plan, bookings and delivery page are the Plus plan, Rs 6,000 a month.
Staff till and tabs (Plus plan)
Ring up counter sales with cash, Raast or card on your bank's machine, keep a tab per table, split the bill and send everything to the kitchen.
Waiter app and floor plan (Plus plan)
Take orders at the table from a phone, see which tables are free, ordering or waiting to pay, and take table bookings.
Refunds and order history
Find any order, cancel an unpaid one or refund a paid one with a reason, and every refund comes off your takings.
QR menu and table ordering
Each table gets its own QR code, so every order arrives with its table number. Print the codes yourself on any printer.
Raast from any app
Guests send the money from JazzCash, Easypaisa, NayaPay, SadaPay or any bank app, straight into the account you already have. Nothing new to sign up for.
JazzCash from the table
Connect your JazzCash merchant account and guests pay from their phone. The money goes to your account, not through us.
Cash at the counter
Guests who'd rather pay cash still order from the table and settle at the counter, at your cash tax rate.
Card and cash tax rates
Set a card rate and a cash rate, show prices with or without tax, and name it the way your bills do: GST, Sales tax or anything else.
PRA and FBR e-invoicing, with refund credit notes
Send paid bills to the Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) or, in Islamabad, the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), and print the verified invoice number and QR code on receipts. A refund sends a credit note to the same authority.
Offline till for load shedding
When power cuts or internet disruptions hit, the till keeps taking cash and printing bills, syncing sales when back online.
Live kitchen screen
Orders appear on any phone, tablet or laptop in the kitchen, sorted New, Preparing and Ready. One tap moves each one along.
Half, full and extras
Half or full karahi, extra raita, less spicy: set up sizes and options with their own prices and let guests choose.
Questions
