VAT, service charge and tips

What's added to the bill, and how it shows to guests.

1Open Settings, then Tax, tips & service.
2Set your VAT rate. Leave the cash rate empty unless your country taxes cash differently.
3Set the tax name guests see on the bill, e.g. VAT, GST or Sales tax.
4Leave "Menu prices already include VAT" ticked if your menu prices include it.
5Add a service charge % if you have one. It appears as its own line.
6Switch on tips if you want guests to be able to add one at online checkout.
7Run a tab, like a bar? Tick "Let table guests pay at the till instead of by card".
