Foodpanda is the biggest food delivery app in Pakistan, and for many restaurants it's where a large share of delivery orders come from. Signing up is mostly paperwork. Here's what to have ready, and how to keep Foodpanda orders from turning into chaos at the counter.

Who can join
Foodpanda's partner page sets four conditions:
- Your restaurant is inside Foodpanda's delivery area.
- You don't only sell pre-orders or occasional products.
- You're open at least 4 hours a day, 5 days a week.
- You have a fixed physical location. Home chefs and cloud kitchens can join without a storefront, with the right documents.
Documents to have ready

The steps
- Fill in the registration form on Foodpanda's partner page with a phone number and email you check.
- Answer the phone. Foodpanda's team may call to verify details or guide you.
- Get your portal login. After verification you receive a username and password by email. You're not live yet.
- Finish the setup: upload your menu and dish photos, set opening hours, then activate your restaurant.
- Optional: set up deals and promotions.
Foodpanda says approval usually takes 2 to 5 working days once everything is submitted.
What about commission?
Foodpanda doesn't publish a single commission rate. Its partner page says there are several packages, and your exact commission is shown in your package during registration. Read it carefully, along with any marketing or deal costs, before you accept.
A good habit: work out your margin on your five best-selling dishes after commission. Some restaurants set slightly higher prices on Foodpanda than on their own menu to cover it.
Once you're live: stop re-typing orders
Most restaurants run Foodpanda from a separate tablet, and someone reads each order off it and types it into the till or calls it to the kitchen. At rush hour that's where add-ons get missed and orders get lost.
