How to Accept JazzCash Payments at Your Restaurant
Connect your JazzCash merchant account so guests pay from the table: where to find your Merchant ID, Password and Integrity Salt, and how to test first.
Updated 17 October 2026
With JazzCash connected, guests who order from the table QR code or your online order page can tap Pay with JazzCash, approve the payment and come back to a confirmed order. Unlike Raast, nobody has to check a banking app: JazzCash tells Café QR the payment went through, and the order is marked paid on its own.
What you need
- A JazzCash merchant (online payments) account. A personal JazzCash wallet won't work: the merchant account is what gives you the integration details. Apply through JazzCash's business team if you don't have one.
- Your Merchant ID, Password and Integrity Salt, from the JazzCash Merchant Portal under Integration.
- JazzCash gives you sandbox (test) details first and live details once your account is approved. You'll use both.
- The owner login for Café QR.
Connect JazzCash in test mode first
- In your Café QR dashboard, open Settings, then Card payments (under Money), and scroll to JazzCash.
- Paste your sandbox Merchant ID, Password and Integrity Salt.
- Tick Offer JazzCash to guests. Leave Live payments (real money) off.
- Tap Save JazzCash settings.
The note under the heading now says Test mode: payments go to JazzCash's sandbox and no real money moves. Place a test order from your own phone, pay with JazzCash's test details, and check that the order arrives on your kitchen screen marked paid.
Return URL: if JazzCash asks for a return URL for your account, copy the one shown on the Payments page, under the form.
Go live
- Once JazzCash approves your merchant account, open Payments again.
- Replace the details with your live Merchant ID, Password and Integrity Salt.
- Tick Live payments (real money) and save.
The note changes to Live mode, and the box at the top reads Guests can pay with JazzCash. Place one small real order to be sure, then refund it if you like.
What guests see
At checkout, guests see Pay with JazzCash alongside your other options. They're taken to JazzCash to approve the payment, then sent back to their order, which is already on its way to your kitchen. If you also have Easypaisa and Raast on, they see all three, and they can always choose to pay at the counter.
Tips
- Your password and Integrity Salt are kept secret. Once saved, the fields show dots; leave them blank to keep what's saved, or type new ones to replace them.
- Tax rates: JazzCash payments use your card tax rate, set in Settings.
- Turning it off: untick Offer JazzCash to guests to hide it without losing your details, or use Disconnect JazzCash to remove them.
Common questions
Who holds the money? JazzCash pays it into your JazzCash merchant account. Café QR never holds it.
What does it cost? Café QR adds no fee. JazzCash charges its own merchant rate, agreed in your merchant account.
JazzCash can't be connected: "secure storage isn't set up"? That's on our side, not yours. Contact Café QR support and we'll fix it.
