How to Accept Easypaisa Payments at Your Restaurant
Connect your Easypay merchant account so guests pay with Easypaisa from the table or online: Store ID, Hash Key, the IPN URL and testing first.
Updated 17 October 2026
With Easypaisa connected, guests can pay from the table QR code or your online order page with Pay with Easypaisa. They approve the payment in their Easypaisa app, the money goes into your merchant account, and Easypaisa tells Café QR it's paid, so the order goes to the kitchen confirmed.
What you need
- An Easypaisa merchant (Easypay online payments) account. A personal Easypaisa wallet won't work.
- Your Store ID and Hash Key, from the Easypay merchant portal. Easypay gives you sandbox (test) details first and live details once you're approved.
- Access to the Easypay merchant portal's IPN URL setting.
- The owner login for Café QR.
Step 1: Enter your sandbox details
- In your Café QR dashboard, open Settings, then Card payments (under Money), and scroll to Easypaisa.
- Enter your sandbox Store ID (a number) and Hash Key (16, 24 or 32 characters, exactly as the portal shows it).
- Tick Offer Easypaisa to guests. Leave Live payments (real money) off.
- Tap Save Easypaisa settings.
The note now says Test mode: payments go to Easypay's staging sandbox and no real money moves.
Step 2: Set the IPN URL (don't skip this)
Under the form you'll see an IPN URL. Copy it and paste it into the IPN URL setting in your Easypay merchant portal.
This is how Easypaisa tells Café QR a payment went through. Until it's set, Easypaisa orders wait at "confirming" and never reach the kitchen. It's the most common reason a new Easypaisa setup "isn't working".
Step 3: Test, then go live
- Place a test order from your own phone and pay with Easypay's test details. Check it arrives on the kitchen screen.
- When Easypay approves your account, replace the details with your live Store ID and Hash Key, tick Live payments (real money) and save.
- Make sure the IPN URL is set on your live store in the Easypay portal too.
The box at the top now reads Guests can pay with Easypaisa.
What guests see
At checkout they see Pay with Easypaisa. With JazzCash on as well, guests get both buttons, and Raast too if you offer it. They can always order and pay at the counter instead.
Common questions
An Easypaisa order is stuck at "confirming". Check the IPN URL in your Easypay portal matches the one on your Café QR Payments page exactly, on the right store (sandbox or live).
Who holds the money? Easypay pays it into your merchant account. Café QR never holds it, and adds no fee of its own.
I saved the Hash Key and now the field is empty. That's on purpose: it's kept secret. Leave it blank to keep what's saved, or type a new one to replace it.
