Built for the way Bold Street trades
Liverpool's independent café trade is concentrated in a handful of dense, walkable stretches — Bold Street, Lark Lane, the Baltic Triangle, Smithdown Road. These are small rooms with tight counters, where the queue reaches the door long before the kitchen is at capacity.
That is the specific problem table ordering solves. Seated guests order from their phone instead of standing up and rejoining the line, so the counter is left for takeaway trade and the room keeps turning during the busy hour.
