Where we are
Setup is a screen-share rather than a site visit: we build your menu from a photo of it, mint your table codes and stay on the call while you put a test order through. Your café's own clock drives opening hours and daily takings, so nothing runs on UK time.

GST is already in the price
New Zealand quotes retail prices with GST included, and at a single national rate — which makes it one of the simpler places in the world to get a menu right. Set the rate once and the displayed price is the price paid.
The receipt shows the GST contained in the total, labelled as GST rather than as VAT, so it works for a guest claiming it back without anything looking foreign.

Card-first, and the guest already knows how to pay
New Zealand adopted card and contactless payment early and thoroughly. A guest asked to pay on their own phone is not being asked to learn anything, which removes the objection that slows table ordering down elsewhere.
What they are not asked to do is install anything. The menu opens in the browser they already have, and the order is placed and paid in the same screen.

A small market is an argument for owning your customers
In a country this size, a café's trade is built on the same faces returning. That makes a list of your own regulars worth considerably more than another channel that rents you access to them.
Every guest who orders can opt in to hear from you directly. The list belongs to the café, not to us — which is the part delivery platforms are structurally unable to offer, because the customer relationship is the product they are selling.
