QR ordering system for Canadian cafés
A code on each table lets guests order and pay from their phone, with orders appearing on a live screen for staff. Built for independent cafés, and priced the same in Halifax as in Vancouver.

Where we are
Setup is a screen-share rather than a site visit: we build your menu from a photo of it, mint your table codes and stay on the call while you put a test order through. Your café's own clock drives opening hours and daily takings, so nothing runs on UK time.
01
One rate, set by your province
Sales tax in Canada is not one number. A café in Alberta charges GST alone; one in Ontario charges a single harmonised rate; British Columbia and the prairie provinces layer a provincial tax on top of GST. Whatever your accountant has told you to charge is what you enter, once.
You also choose the label a guest sees, so a receipt reads GST or HST as your province requires rather than borrowing a British word for it. Whether the rate sits inside your menu prices or is added at checkout is your call too.
02
Five time zones, and hours that respect yours
A café in St John's opens four and a half hours before one in Vancouver. Ordering systems built for a single country routinely get this wrong, and the failure is quiet: your opening hours are read against somebody else's clock and guests are told you are closed while you are visibly serving.
Your café's time zone is part of its setup. Opening hours, the boundary between one day's takings and the next, and the timestamp on a guest's receipt all follow it.
03
Long winters, longer sit-downs
For a good part of the Canadian year, a café is somewhere people stay rather than pass through. A guest three hours into a laptop session will often buy again but will not leave a laptop unattended to stand in line — which is the specific obstacle table ordering removes.
Second orders are usually where table ordering pays for itself, and they are the orders a queue quietly loses.
- Guests reorder from the table without packing up
- Orders queue in arrival order on the staff screen
- Sold-out items can be hidden the moment they run out
